.Quality  Control  Engineer
Position  Summary
To  manage  and  develop  suppliers  to  provide  quality  products,  in  the  category  of  applicator  raw  materials  and  finished  goods,  to  achieve  quality  and  operational  excellence  for  procurement  in  Asia  Pacific  Region.  To  own  supplier  performance  in  terms  of  quality,  and  other  related  metrics.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct  quality  inspection  of  applicator  raw  materials  and  finished  goods  made  in  Asia  Pacific  region.  Ensure  all  goods  meeting  agreed  specification  and  quality  plan  between  SW  and  suppliers,  before  being  shipped  to  US  or  other  regions,  reject  non-conformity  products.
2. Assist  suppliers  set  up  a  solid  quality  control  system,  with  emphasis  on  in  coming  raw  material/component  inspection,  and  in  process  quality  control,  outgoing  quality  control.  So  we  may  reduce/eliminate  our  own  outgoing  QC  inspection  mentioned  above.
3. Assist  the  suppliers  on  problem  solving  process  to  find  the  root  cause  and  implement  corrective  actions,  so  as  to  eliminate  the  problem  permanently.
4. Perform  Quality  audit,  measure  and  track  supplier  quality  performance,  work  with  colleagues  and  suppliers  to  initiate  and  implement  supplier  development  plan.
5. Keep  a  complete  updated  file  of  all  testing  methods,  and  specification  at  APPO  office.  May  translate  those  documents  from  English  to  Chinese.


Requirements

1. A  bachelor  degree  in  Engineering,  preferred  in  Industrial  or  Mechanical  engineering.
2. At  least  3~5  years  of  working  experience  in  Quality  Control  system,  especially  experience  of  establishing  &  training  of  manufacturing  quality  control  system.  Training  in  6-sigma  black  belt  and  statistical  data  analysis,  is  preferred.
3. Experience  in  using  problem  solving  tools  such  as  8D,  RCCA
4. Good  material  knowledge  in  inspection  procedures;
5. Fluent  in  writing  and  oral  English.
6. Require  up  to  50%  travel.
7. Organized,  analytical  &  pay  attention  to  details.
