職位描述：
The  Resin  Shift  Supervisor  is  responsible  for  insuring  quality  production  in  a  safe,  environmentally  responsible,  and  efficient  manner  according  to  established  schedules  and  procedures.
Incumbent  also  has  key  Resin  Plant  Safety  and  Environmental  responsibilities  include:
1）  minimizing  the  hazardous  waste  generations,
2）  reporting/cleaning  of  accidental  discharges  accurately  and  timely,
3）  ensuring  emergency  preparedness  procedures  are  followed,  and
4）  serving  on  the  fire  brigade  and/or  life-support  squads.
5）Ensure  properly  prepared  for  Work  Permit  to  implement  the  non-routine  task.
-  Schedule  employees  and  equipment  and  verifying  that  needed  resources  are  available  as  well  as  modifications  to  plans  based  on  changing  priorities  and/or  availability  of  personnel,  equipment  and  materials  etc.
-  Plan  to  pre-stage  the  material  daily  and  properly  close  the  batch  card  when  finish  the  batch.
-  Direct  and  control  the  actual  work  process,  which  includes  training  employees,  distributing  work  to  employees  and  monitoring  the  entire  work  process  to  ensure  that  work  is  completed  efficiently,  timely  and  in  a  safe  and  healthful  manner.
-  Observe  on  the  floor  to  ensure  raw  material  charging  with  right  time,  right  amount,  right  sequence.
-  Serve  as  a  back  up  for  the  Resin  Control  Room  Specialist  if  possible；
-  Interface  with  the  QA  lab  to  ensure  quality  products  are  manufactured  and  packaged  for  customer  use.
-  Work  with  plant  management  to  implement  the  5S  and  Lean  activities.
-  Work  with  the  Resin  Process  Engineers  to  quickly  identify  and  resolve  reaction  and  quality  problems  in  a  safe  and  effective  manner.
-  Interact  with  plant  maintenance  functions  to  troubleshoot  and  restore  equipment  to  support  manufacturing  operations.

The  incumbent  is  directly  accountable  for  personnel,  safety,  quality,  scheduling  issues  related  to  resin  production.
Housekeeping,  training,  emergency  response,  and  whole  plant  supervision  coverage  are  additional  responsibility.

Requirements
-  Possess  a  college  education  or  its  equivalent  and  have  a  minimum  of  5  years  of  operations/production  experience,  preferably  in  a  chemical  manufacturing  environment.  ［Alternate:  An  associate/Bachelor  Degree  and  a  minimum  of  3  years  of  related  plant  experience.］
-  Must  be  knowledgeable  of  equipment  and  processes  to  be  supervised  so  that  proper  action  can  be  promptly  taken  in  all  extraordinary  situations.
-  Must  have  sufficient  technical  abilities  to  recognize  chemical  reaction  problems.
-  Must  have  a  high  degree  of  organizational  and  labor  relations  skills.  Effective  human  relation  and  communication  skills  （written  and  oral）  are  required.
-  A  working  knowledge  of  quality  systems  would  be  an  asset.
